Scootaloo has just finished her first flying lesson with her honorary sister, the fastest flyer and coolest pony in all of Equestria, Rainbow Dash. It was completely awesome, but she didn't really enjoy learning how to fly. Odd right? I mean, what pegasus wouldn't want to fly? Scootaloo can only think of one: Fluttershy. So, who else would she turn to when she needs a like-minded friend to share something with?

After a trying day at school, Scootaloo attempts to fly. It doesn't go the way she planned, leaving her hurt both emotionally and physically.

It's up to another Pegasus to patch her up and help her regain some confidence.

It will soon be nightmare night, the streets of quiet little ponyville are alive with excitement, games are being put up for the little fillys and colts to play and costumes are being made for the night. Everyone is excited but one, Fluttershy has never been on a nightmare night, scared by her own shadow, how could she possibly get through the night, maybe with a little push she can have fun, maybe with a bigger push something more.

Two mares wait to be executed. As they wait, they reflect on the events that lead to this moment and think about what will happen next.

For some it's a time of fun and laughter with cool costumes and candy, but for others it's a time of fear where their worst nightmares walk the streets. On such a night of ghosts and ghouls it's the job of a good friend to comfort those who don't share the same love of being scared.

But what happens when it all goes wrong and what was supposed to be fun becomes terror?

When Rainbow Dash forces her date Fluttershy into going into Ponyville's local graveyard at twelve o' clock on Nightmare Night, of course she is scared out of her mind! But can she even open the gate to the graveyard before screaming and running? Well, we'll see.

Sorry this might seem like a bad idea, but I needed a Halloween story to post. Read this at your own risk, as the story has a Teen rated edge. Just a little follow up to those who don't like to read "scary" things.

Losing someone you love is always hard. Sometimes you blame them for leaving. Sometimes you blame the world for taking them. Sometimes you blame yourself for not being there.

Loss is a terrible thing to go through alone.

Luckily for Rainbow Dash: she's not.
