This is the first installment of the Sleepy Author Challenge.
What happened was that I wrote this at about two in the morning with no game plan and no editors or proofreaders. I also did this in one sitting. I did not, nor will I ever edit this myself. (My eyes still hurt.)

The prompt for this fic was "Lyra makes pudding at 4 AM," requested by Vargras.

Finding herself unable to sleep, Princess Celestia occupies her mind by penning a letter to Twilight Sparkle. But for a weary princess, the mind has a tendency to wander...

The red maned, black coated alicorn Mary Sue is having trouble making friends in Canterlot. Princess Celestia sends her to Ponyville, to learn about the magic of friendship from Twilight Sparkle and her friends. With any luck, they can show her just where she's going wrong.

I hope to make this a believable story about an unbelievable character. Inspired by "The Red Maned, Black Coated Alicorn Mary Sue Has a Birthday Party", but not in continuity with it.

But even this isn’t enough to distract her from the obvious fact that Vinyl is acting… different. Kinder, sweeter, and much more considerate. Something happened last night, something that has clearly had a huge effect on Vinyl. But what could it possibly be?

The year is Friendship Century 0079. Ponykind has expanded into outer space. Friendzone 3, the colonies farthest from Equestria, rebel against the iron-hooved rule of the Equestrian Federation. Declaring themselves the Principality of Neighon, they begin an all-out war against the Federation, decimating the Equestrian army with a powerful new weapon: giant robots known as Mobile Steeds.

In a single bloody month, both sides lose over half their respective populations. Now, as Neighon advances into Equestrian territory, the Federation wobbles on its last legs. Their only hope for survival: the flagship White Stable, and its cargo, a prototype Mobile Steed of unsurpassed power. Its name is Gundam, and it just might be the key to victory.

If they could only get its pilot to stop crying.

Rainbow Dash is having a great time. She's just become a Wonderbolt, she's on R&R in Canterlot, drinking with her new comrades; in short, life is good. Then the alcohol sets in, and of course, a drunken dare is made.

A fun, simple little something that I made when I asked myself "who else could Vinyl be paired up with besides Octavia, and how?"

Sex tag is for highly sexual jokes and situations. Closest I've ever come to Mature, folks.

Excited to try out her secret new apple-and-cinnamon cupcake recipe, Pinkie Pie bakes a batch and heads for Sweet Apple Acres, believing Applejack to be the best judge of apple-tasting baked goods in Ponyville. When Applejack makes an off-hoof comment, Pinkie Pie may just surprise her friend with more than her delicious pastries.

Newly-together couple Vinyl Scratch and Octavia have just spent the night out on the town. Vinyl blasted their favourite nightclub with major wubbage while Octavia discovered a new drink at the bar. Now Vinyl has to escort home a marefriend more drunk than she's ever been, and in her intoxicated state, Octavia says just a little bit too much.
