Fluttershy wants to confess her love to Twilight, but she's afraid to. Rarity comes up with an idea for her and Twilight to have picnic together, so as to tell her in a romantic setting.

This is in the process of being re-written. If you wish to keep it as it is, you'd best save it right now. The core story is that Fluttershy injures herself, with Rainbow caring for her. Sometime after, Fluttershy gets a chance to return the favour when Rainbow is a little sick with a cold.

Twilight always thought that being able to send the Princess her letters instantaneously through Spike's fire breath was the best thing in the world. Instant correspondence with her mentor and secret crush could never be a bad thing, right? Unfortunately, Twilight has a habit of writing her secrets down on flammable materials. Now her secret's out, so what's a panicky unicorn to do? Panic, obviously!

On Heart's and Hooves Day, the Cutie Mark Crusaders get the idea of setting up Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, convinced that the two pegasi are perfect for each other. Even if they at first swore not to attempt this, after what had happened the year before. But the CMC feel sure about it this time. No love poison to mess it up!

Overnight, everything changes for Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash as they at last begin to realise that they�ve always been a little more than just friends. As they unravel their newfound feelings, discovering more about each other and themselves, they can't help but wonder if they both feel the same way � and after Rainbow Dash makes a mistake that could take a lifetime to mend, she fears that she may lose her closest friend forever.

When Twilight springs some great news on her friends, she didn't seem to notice that Rainbow was less than ecstatic. In fact, it was all the pegasus could do to not pin her down and force her to take it back! Now, time is running out, and Rainbow Dash has to make a decision. Should she take a chance? Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash have always been great friends, looking out for each other and sticking together like two good Pegasus pals would. But all it took was one faithful night, one confession of love, to send their long-term friendship towards a new and deeper level. Now having to deal with whether they should be together, whether they even love each other, and how their friends and others may react, they must face the challenges this possibly new-found love could bring. But the question is, will they survive, and will close friendship or romance prevail over all else in the end?
