Twilight wants to lose a few pounds, but everything she's tried hasn't worked. She decides to create a potion that will increase her metabolism and help her burn off the unwanted weight. Little does she know that her potion is going to have some unexpected side-effects.

Thunderlane brings over some company for a weekend without his parents. He forgets about an assignment, leaving Flitter and Cloudchaser alone with Rumble, who has magically become a lamia pony. Hijinks ensue to a great but not unreasonable extent.

Apple Bloom and Rumble are bored out of their minds. Their friends are away and most of the other foals in Ponyville are too busy to play with them regularly. All they have is each other for one week. On the second day, they decide to go and explore a cave in the mountains near the little hamlet. They will not return the same.

Rumble is lured...err...invited over by the CMC for a playdate, little does he know, they have something else in mind. Something more sinister and...slithery.

Things get a little freaky when Twilight discovers that she has the power to mind control other ponies, things get intimate as Fluttershy and Twilight go on a magical journey filled with wonder and self-discovery.

Rumble has to fly down from Cloudsdale to PonyVille and do some errands, some of which were Thunderlane's tasks in the first place. However, his couch potato of a big brother is reluctant, leading the diligent colt to take matters into his own hooves. Rumble doesn't have the slightest ounce of worry in his mind, but he should: His toned pecs aren't ready for the world to see yet. Aged up Rumble, meaning that he is of teenage age. INNUENDO. Title changed because there is another story out there that has the word mare-magnet in the title. :(

Rumble hates Hearts and Hooves day. It's the most boring holiday ever, and does not deserve even a bit of the recognition and attention it gets. Why would you even like it? All you do is hang the paper cut outs (in form of hearts) everywhere and listen to boring lectures at school about the importance of love. How dull!

However, Rumble's opinion of this holiday is about to be turned upside down. For you see, he has never had a marefriend before, never even thought about getting one. He doesn't even consider dating. But he is about to experience just how difficult it can be when you try it yourself — and not just with anypony, no.

His (un)fortunate marefriend is none other than the princess.
