Thousands of years into the future, the Empire of Equestria is in shambles, its ponies left to waste away in space colonies or dying terraformed planets without a strong leader to guide them.

With the Empire fragmented mercenaries like Grogar have risen to power and attacked it head-on with only one goal in mind: to get their hooves on the Stone of Harmony, the last vestige of the old magic left in the universe.

In a desperate ploy to protect the stone, Starlight Glimmer embarks on a journey to safeguard it in the last place her adversaries would anticipate—the lost planet of Equus...if she finds it first.

Her old friend Sunburst might have some answers, but in a galaxy where everyone only looks after themselves, Starlight's misplaced trust might not only cost her her life but the future of the Empire as a whole.

Written for the Science Fiction Contest III
Rated T for sci-fi violence, some swearing, minor character death, and a dash of awkward romance, but nothing too severe.

It is the first time that two creatures will be approaching the catastrophic planet. Never before has anything made by the inhabitants of Weil come close to it. What better creatures for this than two ponies?
Indeed, the mark on its surface, a crater, is one of the most recognized symbols in all of pony folklore. It's a symbol of peace, of joy, of fear and evil. Legends give it miraculous properties, as well as terrible corrupting powers.
Is there a link between this crater and pony folklore? Even if the planet is so far from Weil that it can't even be seen with the naked eye, it wasn't always the case. Millenia ago, it would have been visible in the night sky, barely smaller than the moon. Only for a brief period of time.

What will those two ponies find here? Are the legends true? And if they are, which ones? The good? Or the bad ones?

Warning: While there is no gore or physical violence so to speak, there are some disturbing things and implied pain. That's why the fic is rated "Teen". I don't think it needs the "Violence" tag, but I'm ready to add it if people deem it necessary. I'm also really bad with tags in general so I've put Horror and Dark because I think they do fit. Or, at least, the fic is intended that way.

Story written for the Science Fiction Contest III. I was planning on participating in the Wonderbolt Contest with another fic, but I couldn't do both in time, and this one was way more inspiring for me. So I did this one.
Art by Taïga Blackfield.
Music used: Ketsui to Kakugo (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S)
Sweet Dreams (by RisenFromTheDust, from the album Beyond and Below of Neighsayer/Furtherproof & Feathers)

Rarity awakens to discover time has stopped for everyone but her and her love, Twilight Sparkle. And also Trixie. And a growing number of other ponies. And strawberries.

An exquisite corpse is a form of collaborative art where each participant only knows about part of the whole work, and must complete their part with limited context. In this case, each writer only had access to the previous chapter, resulting in the story getting confused, yet still moving forward undeterred. The exception is me having full context when helping out the others.

Participating writers were me, The Red Parade, Gearcrow, WiseLlama, Cynewulf, Ruby, trAce, Lingo, Lopunny, Undome Tinwe, and Nonchalant.

(Takes place within the universe of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: What If? and its many sequels. Familarity with them is recommended, but not required.)

It's back once again, that series which has always asked and sought to answer the question "What if things were written differently?". This time, rather than episodes from the show, it's tackling the big 2017 theatrical movie.

Twilight Sparkle is excited to host the very first Festival of Friendship, right in her hometown of Ponyville. But she's also starting to have doubts about how great of a princess she truly is in the wake of a costly mistake made not too long ago. Luckily, she has her friends by her side along with her faithful companion and adopted family member Spike.

But just as everything's in place for the festival to begin, things go awry. A hornless unicorn named Tempest Shadow launches an invasion on behalf of an evil known as the Storm King, and she soon sets her sights on all four alicorn princesses: Twilight included. Twilight and her friends only barely manage to escape.

Facing a threat unlike anything they've ever dealt with before, Twilight hopes to recruit a new ally in the form of Queen Novo, and her friends insist on tagging along. Their journey will take them beyond the borders of Equestria, to lands never seen before, and will test their friendship in ways unimagined. Can the magic of friendship survive when it is placed under extreme stress?

As always, no disrespect is to intended to anyone at Hasbro, DHX, Boulder Media, or to anyone involved with the movie's creation: Be it from a writer, artist, or voice acting stand point.

When the Super Megaforce Rangers got trapped in Equestria, a place filled with colorful ponies, by one of Levira's inventions, they meet up with Elements of Harmony. However, it also turned out that Prince Vekar and the rest of the Armada are in the pony world too, teaming up with the other villains - Cozy Glow, Chrysalis, Tirek, and Grogar, as well as new, evil changelings.

Note 2: Edits/changes will be on here. On my old account, I can't access it anymore, and I'd missed my own typos and grammar errors.

Note 3: Don't assume I'm copying a story because like I said this story was originally on my old account.

Note 4: Don't suggest that I rewrite this story. I have this fic on other websites.

This story is a sequel to Fluttershy's Butterflies

As Fluttershy's friendship with Sonata deepens, she wants to bring the ex-Siren into her wider friendship group... and that means welcoming Adagio and Aria too.

A beach party story was suggested in the comments after Fluttershy's Butterflies, and it seemed like a fun idea.

You can read more about Fluttershy and Sonata in Rock Chicks (https://www.fimfiction.net/story/539724/fluttershy-rocks-out)

It also fits together with Princess or Puppet (https://www.fimfiction.net/story/537897/princess-or-puppet) and Sunset Shimmer's Loss (https://www.fimfiction.net/story/538122/sunset-shimmers-loss) in my EQG fan fiction.

Her dream is being threatened, a peaceful dream where she could be unemployed and rich simultaneously.

After being summoned by a ridiculously overpowered alicorn, she'll have to fight for that dream to the bitter end. She must return home- away from this magical nonsense and futuristic technology.

But the Empress doesn't seem all morally corrupt and, in fact, treats her populace with kindness and care. She also has an unhealthy obsession with preventing biological disasters and establishing proper quality-of-life laws.

But still, she won't be shaken. She needs this dream more than power, fame, or an alicorn mother figure—wait, what?
