A Short story about how Shining Armor got his Cutie Mark.

Following the final battle between Princess Celestia and the corrupted Princess Luna, the sovereign ruler of Equestria finds herself overwhelmed emotionally by the event. To deal with this, Celestia journeys to the horizon, the ancient juncture between the Sun and the Earth, to meet her friend and cousin Princess Circadia, the embodiment of nature and all life that lives beneath Celestia's star.

The two go on to discuss Luna's fall and transformation into Night Mare Moon, and the realities of their existences as immortal alicorns.

I'll try to complete this story as soon as possible. I was inspired to write it tonight, and stayed up late pounding out the prologue.

April 22: Made a slight edit to the Prologue, replacing instances of the first-person pronoun with the royal "we." It occurred to me that the next chapter flowed better were that the case.

Rainbow Dash wants to cook a healthy meal for herself one night. And the pegasus is determined to do it all on her own. But the pegasus is a rookie at cooking a meal, and learns that cooking is not as easy as it seems.

Pinkie Pie is throwing a party to celebrate Ponyville's 100th birthday, and everypony will be there to celebrate the momentous occasion!

But as news of the party spreads, Gaston sees the party as an insult to his glorious chest hair and throbbing muscles and decides to throw his own party in an attempt to outshine the strange pony folk and prove his manliness to the entire world.

Rainbow has worked hard to become an astronaut, and is shocked to learn that her friends have turned her first trip to space into a mere publicity stunt. When things go wrong, she must put her objections aside if any of them hope to make it home alive.

Princess Celestia tires of constantly being surrounded by decorum, deference, and formality, and decides to take a day off from being Princess. But visiting Ponyville incognito is harder than she expects. Will she be able to fit in and make friends without blowing her cover?

With a sibling and the happiness it brings. In a collection of three short stories.

The story of how Luna felt during the thousand years on the moon, and how her emotions change from the time she was banished, to the time she returned.

A thousand years is quite the generation gap, so Princess Luna decides she has to get with the times. However, this isn't quite as easy as she thinks it will be...

Scootaloo's rather embarrassed by her Mom. Not because she isn't cool, arguably she's both the hottest and the coolest mom in Ponyville. It's not about the fact that her mom serves on the royal court either, though that doesn't help. Maybe it's got more to do with the fact that the reason her mom is almost never seen after sunrise or before sunset, or because before the Mare in the Moon returned to Equestria, she knew her name.

Or, you know, that her mother is a chocoholic, an embarrassing know it all that's actually lived it all, owes personal favors to Princess Luna, and has the unfortunate job description of 'ruler of the land and day'. Sure, having Celestia as your mom is cool and all, but at the same time nopony can know who she really is. Nopony gets to 'know' her, and every moment is guarded against snooping visitors. And yet, there's still hope for a better day to come. Even when all your mom's enemies and rivals finally come home to roost and ruin your day. It can't be all bad, right?
