First Light has been drinking Flim Flam Miracle Curative Tonic since the twin brothers first started selling it so that she can take to the skies once more to rejoin the weather team. She sees Applejack and Rainbow Dash and can't wait to tell them how happy she is.

(A story is like a puzzle. You give the pieces to the reader, and they put it together how they see fit.)

Twilight has come to discover that royal politics are complicated, but foreign policy is the worst. When the minotaur king decides to pay a visit, Celestia invites Twilight to be part of her first meeting with a foreign leader. This is her first big chance to impress on an international level... but the king isn't here to celebrate the Magic of Friendship, and he has more than a few choice words for the rookie princess. Twilight might just want to go back to world-saving after this.

Originally written for the write-off prompt "There's Magic in Everything." I was too late, then changed it up, and was left with... well, this. Brilliant!

Canterlot has at last fallen, and the six heroes of the rebellion now go to face the ultimate challenge: defeating the godlike Twilight Sparkle. What they expect to be a brutal, hard won quest for glory and Equestria's salvation turns into something entirely different... and now they face a choice.

This story is a reaction piece against the Tyrant Sparkle trope.

During a lecture about the finer points of eugenics, Ayranne discovers that the ponies of Ponyville aren't quite as excited about the Final Solution as she is.

Turns out her best is a little too good.
