The spell was lifted, her friends had been sent home, and her student had learned her lesson. 

In theory, everything should be fine. At least, that’s what Twilight kept telling herself. The Fiducia Compelus episode was nothing more than a mistake, and once apologies were handed out tomorrow, everypony would be able to put it behind them. Everything was absolutely fine. 

Why, then, were there sobs coming from Starlight’s room?

It’s amazing how just one singular creature has such a big effect on everyone. Today we’re all going to learn that as we take a glimpse at how the world fares when Spike gets amnesia.

Following the events of “Swirlpool Starlight,” Misty is feeling more conflicted about her past being brought to the surface than ever. Fortunately, one pony may be able to help her see the bright side to it all and perhaps help her learn more about herself……

A quick oneshot idea I had in the middle of the night that's set just a few days after the season 5 finale.

Starlight is prone to overthinking especially with everything that just happened, it was hard to even imagine she deserved the treatment she was receiving. But no matter how many times Starlight turns away from it all, Twilight is there to reassure her. Twilight wants nothing more than to help Starlight feel like she belongs and understand that she is becoming somepony knew, change is hard and it seems to be hitting Starlight more than others in the current time.

Crystal Dawn has been the secret twin sister of Twilight Sparkle for all these years. When her mother invites her to Canterlot to find out about her, Crystal Dawn moves in with Twilight to finally catch up.
