A quick oneshot idea I had in the middle of the night that's set just a few days after the season 5 finale.
Starlight is prone to overthinking especially with everything that just happened, it was hard to even imagine she deserved the treatment she was receiving. But no matter how many times Starlight turns away from it all, Twilight is there to reassure her. Twilight wants nothing more than to help Starlight feel like she belongs and understand that she is becoming somepony knew, change is hard and it seems to be hitting Starlight more than others in the current time.

For your first MLP story, I say you did good. Although this may just be me, but this is more like a slice of life and drama story than a romance (unless that was the intention and I missed it somehow). While I’m usually not one to read romance-tagged stories, this caught my attention and gave it a try, and I’m glad I did.
Like I stated before, it was good. I can’t wait to see more from you in the future. Specifically with these two.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! While I wrote this for the purpose of shipping, it wasn't exactly meant to be focused on the romance part (especially since this is meant to be before any real feelings developed). I wanted it to be more focused on Starlight's internal struggles during her reforming with Twilight helping push her forward from doubts. I just wasn't really sure which category fit this the best so, I just put romance on it and called it a day since it's technically not wrong. XD
