A non-canon story set in the world of "Journey with a Batpony" by Gulheru.

A group of Noctrali fall to arguing about what they should do as for the first time in nearly a thousand years an Equestrian, Princess Twilight Sparkle, is allowed to visit their sacred homeland. As they argue the merits of holding Twilight captive for the crimes of Equestrians a thousand years dead, they receive counsel from an unexpected source.

Princess Twilight Sparkle is keen on bringing the Magic of Friendship to everyone, not only the ponies of Equestria. Accepting an invitation she received a long time ago, she decides to visit the domain of batponies. Alongside Midnight Wind, a Nightguard member she befriended, she sets off on a perilous journey to the land of Noctraliya.

But can she fulfill her task when faced with internal rivalries, political intrigues, cultural aversions... and a funny feeling growing gradually in her heart?

It's been three months since Vinyl was forced to move out of Octavia's house.
The cellist couldn't handle the constant arguments that were filling their daily lives together.
Octavia's friends and family support her decision to get away from the DJ by offering all the help she needs.... even a bit too much....

Octavia still gets angry whenever Vinyl Scratch, or anything related to her (like her wub-powered dishwasher) is ever mentioned in a conversation. She wants her friends and family to stop pestering her about it for that part of her life is done.....

'Calling Equestrial Rescue, this is General Dapper of the Indoneighsian Army. We have been assisting with the evacuation of all settlements in the vicinity of Mount Kraken, a volcano that has been ejecting ash for several hours now. The cloud already covers an area hundreds of miles wide, but we expect a full-scale eruption very soon. We have had to abandon our rescue efforts due to increasing seismic activity, but there is still a small group of ponies unaccounted for. Our reports indicate they were hiking near the mountain, but we can find no sign of them. Time is short, can you help us?'

'Calling Equestrial Rescue, this is Deepsea Echo laboratory currently operating out of the Mareiana Trench. We were hit by some unpredicted seismic activity and in our attempt to evacuate, one of the escape pods malfunctioned. To our best understanding the docking clamps have failed to release fully but the water seal between the doors has breached, so we're trapped inside the pod. The lab is at a depth of six point eight nautical miles and the pod only has an oxygen supply to last us a few hours. Please, Equestrial Rescue if you can hear this message... help us. You're our only hope.'

'Calling Equestrial Rescue, this is the EQCGC Thresher of the Equestrian Coast Guard. We are currently on-scene with the cruise ship M.S. Celestial, which has now capsized. We were called to evacuate the passengers due to engine trouble which was being exacerbated by typhoon-force weather conditions, but the engines exploded and the ship turned onto its side before we could finish our operation. Though the majority of passengers were successfully evacuated, we believe a family of four are still on board. Equestrial Rescue, if you can hear us, please acknowledge this transmission.'

Many months have passed since Twilight Sparkle, now crowned Princess of Equestria, managed to conduct an interview with Midnight Wind, an amiable batpony that came to stay in Ponyville. She gained incredible answers, yet emerged with a lot of questions still. Now, as another meeting is set, she desires to know even more about his species.

But some tapes are never meant to be shared with the public...

Twilight Sparkle will not pass up on this incredible opportunity – a batpony stallion came to stay in Ponyville and is willing to share knowledge and information! It would allow to finally fill all the gaps in Equestrian knowledge about their species!

Out of nowhere, King Sombra returned to take over Equestria and turn everypony into his brainwashed servants. Sombra destroyed the Elements of Harmony, sealing his victory. Or so he thought.

After Discord tapped into a near-unstoppable power, the full power of Princess Twilight Sparkle, Sombra found himself in trouble.

Will Sombra's magic be enough to survive the Princess of Friendship's wrath? If he lives, how will Twilight punish him? And should she watch her back...?

This story takes place in the Season 9 premiere, but the events of the Season 5 premiere and Season 6 finale did not happen in the same way in the continuity of this story. However, enough will be explained to understand this story (and laugh) without needing to read its predecessor story, or the 2 stories before it, other than to learn more about what the changes are and why.
