In this trio of short, anthological stories, I'll be telling three different ghost stories. One from the sea, one from the land, and one from the frosty air. All about some of the darker sides of Equestria.

1: The Cepheus - The Equestrian Naval ship receives a mysterious distress signal only to find an abandoned old ship floating in the fog.

2: The Hearse Ride - A group of foals decided to go on a new ride through the Everfree Forest in an old hearse with a cloaked driver and a ragged minstrel singing a rather disturbing song.

3: Psychosis - After spending over two weeks being trapped in a blizzard in the mountains, one of a group of friends is slowly driven mad to the point he would crave for something else.

It's the anniversary of a very important day in Apple family history. Important, but tragic. Granny locks herself in her room, reminiscing about what happened that day and why none of her grandchildren will ever be told the true tale.

This story is a sequel to His Thorn on the Rose

Caramel works at a Hospice, taking care of dying patients, making sure that their last days are as comfortable as possible. He can't ever let himself grow attached to his patients, though, that would cause far too many complications.

One patient, however, is different.

Based off The Antler's "Hospice".

Not related to Cudpug's story, although we both draw from the same base material (the album).

A work of moral philosophy.

Have you ever loved someone? I think that love is one of the unifying factors that defines us all, and is really the ultimate satisfaction in life above all else. Hospice details the relationship between an unnamed narrator and Rarity, and how their relationship rises and falls in the wake of choices that they both make. The intention of the story was always to engage with the theme of relationship breakdown; view the story as distinctly metaphorical and make sure to read between the lines.

Caramel supposes he always loved Roseluck, the feelings just didn't show up until late.

And Roseluck's got certain qualities that make it... rather difficult for her to return the love to him.

One day, he gave her a rose, and it was very beautiful.

This is a story about the last human after the conversion of the human race into ponies. The last human is alone but is going to continue to live and shine, even if everything seems to be at its end.

However, as much as this is true, the past tells us of a different tale, unrecognizable by today's minds and eyes, where only a few seem to know about it.

In the United Kingdom, school day proceeds as normally as it ever could be, except for a class of students, who unwillingly stumble upon the truth of the past.
