Most ponies, when they see a pony with an hourglass cutie mark, would figure that it would mean their talent has something to do with time, or clocks, or another harmless meaning. Technically, the first is true, but there is a hidden meaning beneath it. To those that carry it, they know that the hourglass marks them as refugees, survivors from a war that would make any normal pony go mad from glimpsing just a fraction of the sheer scope of it. These unusual ponies have all found asylum in Equestria, but now, one last escapee will be followed by an evil that will threaten to ignite the conflict anew and bring down their last refuge with it.

But this newcomer not only brings the remains of the conflict with him, but is their best and only hope of ending it once and for all.

The last gasp of the Time War has come to Equestria. The Doctor will find old friends, make new ones...and face off with one of his greatest foes, one last time.

After Ditzy has a cordial meeting with her dear friend Spitfire, a friend who believes her memory to be damaged, their worlds are changed when their friendship is no longer secret. Ditzy begins to remember things about who she used to be, while another, more sinister force has never forgotten who she was...

Derpy just wanted to find a new friend, but she got more than she expected when she sets off to see some of our beloved ponies. After a freak mishap in Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack loses her temper, and now she just might lose Derpy as a friend for good...

Finally old enough to pursue her dream, Rainbow Dash parts with her friends and joins pre-season training with the Wonderbolts. Old enemies and new friends come together as she trains, but being a Wonderbolt is about more than just flying faster than the rest. Will Rainbow Dash prove capable of overcoming the obstacles arrayed before her, or will she drop out and become another failed hopeful? There's only one way to find out! A mysterious brown Earth pony with an hour glass Cutie Mark sneaks into Canterlot Castle, only to be caught by Princess Celestia herself. Curiously, Celestia is intrigued by the seemingly endless stream of nonsense this pony is wont to speak. Luna soon joins them, and the group heads into the very depths of the castle, where something has been lurking for far too long...

Author's Note: The story begins with Season 1 Luna, weakened and with very little magical power, as well as having 'flat' hair.

Doctor Whooves is also an Earth pony in this fanfic, as he has appeared as both a Pegasus and Earth pony in show.

It's a perfectly normal day in Ponyville,and Sweetie Belle,Applebloom and Scootaloo are relaxing in the playground near the school when a mysterious comic book appears.Each page details a horrific even from Equestria's history,as well as several near catastrophes that were averted by groups of ponies.2 of which are fairly recent.
Not knowing what to make of it,they take the comic back to their clubhouse and hide it.

Rated E 10+ by the ESRB. May contain infrequent swearing.
