The Shaper is a smith of unparalleled skill, her creations the most sought after in the fallen world. When a pony named Lyra comes to her with a unique commission she has to put all her skill to the test to craft a weapon of great power. For Lyra's goal is not an easy one, and it is not just any weapon that can kill a Dragon.

A story inspired by this and this image, as well as this challenge by CDRW (whose fic A Still More Glorious Dawn Awaits is quite good).

A strange and sudden cataclysm has spread the Everfree forest across all of Equestria. Angel wakes Fluttershy from a stony slumber, only to find her stricken with amnesia. Now he and kind pegasus must venture across Equestria to find what had happened and how to restore harmony.

As other ponies prepare to deal with a dragon threatening Ponyville, two mares on a bench continue their discussion about their lives, a discussion that takes a weird turn.

A series of notes sent to a young changeling in the field by her superior, and a glimpse into the minds of a race whose views on friendship and love are at once totally alien and disturbingly easy to recognize in ourselves and those around us.

A translation of the ancient epic describing the battle in which Discord was locked in stone. Rendered in Modern Equestrian using common vernacular by T. Sparkle, this is the first truly accessible rendering of the poem to see publication. For both amateur historians and lovers of classical literature, it is an essential addition to any library.

Derpy is a dedicated mail mare, albeit a rather untalented one. She's always dropping and breaking the packages entrusted to her. Infuriated, her boss gives her an ultimatum: one more mistake and she's fired. When she suffers a mid-air collision and opens the package to find it is filled with broken plates, her heart shatters as well. Is Derpy really the broken, useless mare that her boss thinks she is?

At the start of every storm, Pinkie Pie forsakes the safety and comfort of her home to gallop out into the rain and the lightning, and sit on the tallest hill in Ponyville. Everyone writes her behavior off as her "just being Pinkie Pie". That's true, though. She is being Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie would do anything to show a friend that she cares, and she knows one friend who is closer to the storms than anyone else. She knows that by showing her love for the storms when no one else will, she's showing her love for the pony who makes those storms.

After falling prey to a prankster, Luna gets revenge the only way she knows how.

Murder.

Pinkie Pie has always served admirably as the Element of Laughter, and it's time for the princesses to show their appreciation. In fact, they have a special assignment for her, something they've never tried. It will be the best surprise she ever had.
