Ever since the awkward incident with Twilight and Anon, Celestia has had an interest in Anons "sritches and pets" as he says.

Today is the day she finally tries them. She just hopes that they really are as good as Twilight has been hyping them up to be.

Canterlot has fallen.
The princesses have been captured.
There is no leadership.
There is no plan.

luna has a spell-born child while trying to rule the world along with her sister. She figures that raising a child would help her from her internal loneliness although Celestia is uneasy by this she gives in. This child soon becomes more than just lunas daughter and perhaps gains the ability to live as long beside her mother and aunt.

Applejack storms into the Town Hall, glaring at any pony that so much as glances her way. "Where's that mayor?!" She stomps with each step, tail lashing on her way to Mayor Mare's office. She expects satisfaction, and swears she will leave with it.

Persephone Gaia Blake is stuck in a bit of a rut.

While all her friends are off following their respective dreams, she's stuck listlessly working at her hippie mother's witchy souvenir shop, peddling crystals and tarot decks to Salem tourists. She doesn’t believe in any of the ‘magic’ nonsense that the city prides itself on promoting to visitors, but she sucks it up to keep the cash flowing and her mother happy. A spinoff of "Five Score, Divided by Four" by TwistedSpectrum. This story follows the updated mature version set in 2020 where MLP got all 9 seasons (albeit with an alternate ending). You should probably check out that first if you want some general understanding of the world, though I don’t think you have to to understand what’s going on. Up to you!

Between this and being forced into a clandestine existence, making do with what little they have left and with no place in this world but the one they'll be able to carve for themselves, it sure ain't easy being an Equestrian on Earth.

Now six months in, despite authorities trying to keep the pony problem a secret and preserve a crumbling status quo, the ripples of change cannot be contained for much longer, slowly building towards an explosive revolution. Ponies have had to learn to live with change, to find ways to adapt to their whole world being upended... But how will humans react, when it's their own reality that's threatened, and it's their turn to make a choice over what kind of future they want, for themselves, for their country, and for a planet on which they're not alone anymore..?

This is the second volume of a sidefic set in the 'Five Score, Divided by Four' universe created by TwistedSpectrum. I'd recommend reading Volume 1 first to fully appreciate the current story, but this short recap will bring you up to speed on the essentials if you'd rather dive right in.
