The Pyramids assault has left the whole of Humanity in a state of panic and dread. There are not enough NLS Drives that can get all the Guardians everywhere fast enough to stem their unrelenting assault. That's where the Drifter came in, with his newest cobbled together death trap: the Paracausal Engine. It's a simple idea, utilize the paracausal energies of Light and Dark to make ships go faster, what could possibly go wrong? And best of all he knows just who to test it.

This is my first attempt at writing a proper story in years, and the first that uses either of these franchise. I hope I do them both justice, and I hope you enjoy reading this silly idea of mine.

So, I don't know how to begin a story. Maybe something like this. You probably don't know who I am but lets just say my life is weird and bizarre. One moment I'm packing stuff in my backpack. Next, I'm transported in this world full of technicolor ponies. Let the madness begin as weird and crazy things start to happen around me. Maybe I'll learn more about myself in this world.

It's chaos in Sonic's world as he and his friends (Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and Silver), race to stop the nefarious Dr. Eggman, who has acquired all seven Chaos Emeralds. The doctor believes he has their mysterious powers mastered, until they overload and open a portal not too different from the one that sent Sonic and his friends to earth years ago. Only this time, they don't end up on earth. They're in a brand new world, one with solar deities, mysterious forests, majestic cities, and, most notably, friendly, adventurous, colorful ponies, which they just happen to now be. They're in Equestria.

But Dr. Eggman was sent to Equestria as well, and the race for the Chaos Emeralds is on. But the doctor isn't alone. It's up to the combined forces of Sonic's team and the Mane 6 to protect their world from perhaps the gravest threat yet.

(Note #2: This story takes place in the canon world of MLP as of episode 13 of season 5 and a somewhat freak Sonic universe comprised of the Sonic Adventure games (and a slew of other Sonic games that will be mentioned) and the Sonic X TV series.)

The Clone Army. An army that was created by the Kaminoans, and is used to fight against Confederacy of Independent System's Droid army. Created from the genes of bounty hunter: Jango Fett, these soldiers are the 'tip of the iceberg' of The Galactic Republic.

Unfortunately, sometimes things can take a turn for the worst. When something goes wrong during the cloning process, the clone itself can suffer mental, and physical complications that cannot- or will not- be fixed. This was the case for: Clone 99.

99 was one of a kind. He never saw any battles, and never partook in one of them. Having been 'degraded' to a simple maintenance clone by his creators. 99 now inspires other clones to give it their all in the heat of battle. To care for each other. To love each other, like any normal family would.

But alas, fate had other things in store. The attack on Tipoca City, the attack on Kamino.. The attack on his home. Having been his first, and last battle. 99 died in his 'home'. But fate had yet again other things in store. Instead of his soul going to the afterlife, it was sent towards another place. A place called: Equestria.

Now, 99 spends his days in Equestria, living his life as he should have done from the beginning. But this day turned out to be very different. Why did Princess Luna insist on speaking him as soon as possible?

Ash, Prince of a Kingdom has been transported to world very different from his... will he find what here what he didn't from before?

The story of 'The Mare that eats the Monsters' is an old, but still very well known Equestrian campfire and bed time story, often told to scare little fillies and colts into behaving themselves. It tells of a mare who loves Equestria and the ponies who live in it despite how frighteningly different she is. She protects ponies across Equestria from nightmarish creatures and monsters that would seek to kill ponies wherever possible.
What most ponies don't realize, but what Twilight Sparkle is soon to learn, is that the mare of the story was and is very real.

And the stakes of her mission have never been higher.

(This story has the horror tag, yes, but it isn't the dominant theme here.)

[Displaced] I was at the New York Anime convention cosplaying Acnologia, but I was missing the necklace. I found it at a vendor in the convention, but as soon as I put it on I woke up in fucking Equestria, AS Acnologia. At least I have both of my arms.

Late hours and overtime... I can't complain too much, it means good money. And good money means enjoying the finer things in life, or at least keeping expensive hobbies active anyways. A few grand into my gear, which constantly comes out with new toys, then another hundred or so every time I want to put my life into my and my buddy's hands ten fathoms deep, if not more so... Sorry, I'm rambling here.

Anyways! Something was bound to give eventually. And now, it finally has. I'm waking up in Equestria, just as the main story is coming into play. At least, I *think* it's the main story... I really hope the Zebras and Ponies aren't trading gems and coal... Or that there are some severe gender roles going on... Or, well, yeah... guess we'll just find out as we go, won't we?

Look, I'm not even going to TRY and deny it, this is straight up wish-fulfillment SI-OC 'Start to follow the plot' 'No, not that plot!' nonsense. It's meant to be more one part enjoyment of writing, one part getting the idea out of my head, and one part getting out of cases of writer's block than anything. So, don't expect a consistent schedule on this by ANY stretch of the imagination. That being said, I do hope you all enjoy it, at least somewhat. And that I'll see you around my other stories!
