Returning from an extended trip, Discord catches up on the happenings of Ponyville only to learn about the Pony Tones and Fluttershy's involvement in several of their performances. Interrogations ensue.

With end-of-year exams at the School of Friendship taking much of her time and energy, Ocellus the changeling has been feeling tired and stressed. Her friends offer to take her to Canterlot for a break, but Sandbar has an even better idea - a romantic dinner at the Tasty Treat.

Once again, this story was requested by chazkopa, whom I would like to thank for giving me an excuse to write an Ocelbar-centred fanfic. I was thinking of doing one anyway, and I may do one set in the Locoverse at a later date, but for now, this has allowed me to indulge in one of my two Young Six OTPs (sorry, Yonabar fans).

The basis for this story, again, is a picture by 13mcjunkinm which I've adopted as the cover art. Another artwork that came to light while I was working on the story, and which I've worked into the narrative, is this.

Twilight Sparkle, pulling another late night, is finally confronted about by Spike and Starlight Glimmer. She reveals that she's been studying one of the realities she saw, specifically the one seemingly ruled by Flim and Flam. She just can't figure out how those two con artists could be as much of a threat as, say, Tirek or Nightmare Moon.

And then Discord shows up, telling her that she's looking at her information wrong. He volunteers to show Twilight, Spike, and Starlight what that reality is really like...

During the friendship journal fiasco, Starlight defends her friend against the ponies who for some reason have developed a vendetta against her.

The Mane Six failed to defeat Discord. The Friendship Reports Celestia tried to send back were all hijacked by Discord. For 10 years Discord has ruled Equestria in age of endless chaos and insanity. But then, the new Dragon Lord shows up in Ponyville, the Chaos Capital of the World, to beat the Draconequus down in a one-on-one fight unlike any that has ever been seen or will ever be seen again.

Double Diamond has always been forced to hide his true nature. Behind the affable mask he wears lies a stallion colder than ice and crueler than steel, only just in control of his darker impulses. That's what makes living among the changelings, who can sense all of his emotions - or lack thereof - such a delicious challenge.

Smolder and Spike hang out in a makeshift lair to discuss life or stir up a little trouble. Just a place to escape Equestria and chill, or in this case burn stuff.

When Pinkie told the others about Rainbow's cookie prank on the whole town, they all decided to fight fire with fire by having the entire town prank her.

It was simple in concept, everypony would act like there was something in the cookies that made them into cookie craving zombies, they'd corner Rainbow in a confined space, and then they'd reveal themselves after scaring her silly, teaching her not to prank so much.

In hindsight, they probably should have known better than to overstimulate the adventurous and action-packed imagination of their pegasus daredevil.

Soarin and Rainbow Dash have a fight over trust issues after Soarin threatened to expel her from the Wonderbolts, but can their love be enough to keep them together? Or will some pony say something that they will regret.

I realize it's another story with relationship conflict, I get the feeling that a lot of my stories will focus on it. I have noticed I tend to put personal experiences into these, a lot of my past is full of conflict and emotional roller coasters.

That was what Twilight had in mind when she invited Luna over for tea one afternoon. A relaxing, friendly meeting between two fellow princesses where they can commiserate and share their experiences. An invitation to a stronger friendship than they had before, offered to a pony displaced in time.

What she got was an uncomfortable assertion about her relationship with her number one assistant, Spike. One that she is having difficulty refuting.
