As long as Dove can remember, she's been a walking bomb. Sometimes, without warning, her horn unleashes dangerous spells at random. She doesn't even have to be thinking of one for it to happen.

For all her life, she has never understood why.

Now, after her latest freak accident, she will.

Fuzzy, blurry patches of color. That's all I can see. I wouldn't even call it "seeing". It's quite sad to be honest. Being pretty much blind makes me feel so helpless sometimes. My parents must've thought I was pretty helpless too for them to leave me. I think everyone thinks I'm helpless to some extent. I was so sheltered during my life at the orphanage. I admit, it was nice being taken care of and knowing that I was safe. But I wanted to be more than that filly who would just stay in her room all day, waiting for something interesting to happen in her life. I wanted to take action and prove I was anything but helpless. That lead me to do something no one saw coming...

Starburst, daughter of Princess Twilight Sparkle, soon meets Creme de la Creme, a mare who has come to Ponyville to visit Starburst's friend Golden Delicious. Starburst soon grows to dislike Creme. But she doesn't know why.

When Starburst heads on over to Sweet Apple Acres to help Golden Delicious with the chores for the day, as expected, she overworks herself like she normally does and she ends up falling asleep on the job.

kilala97 is seriously my favorite artist in this fandom, it was about time I wrote something for her magnificent characters!

It's boring being cooped up in the castle all day. So when Illusion, Nidra, and Valiant try to find something to do, they end up creating lots of delicious chaos. And get grounded, of course, because pranking Starburst and causing her to run around the castle in a panic tends to get ponies mad at you.

Illusion, Nidra, Valiant, and Starburst are all young, with Starburst no older than six years old, and her cousin's aged appropriately.
