This story is a sequel to The Order

Despite receiving a harsh reprimand from Captain Ironhoof for his "little stunt," Flash Sentry still struggles with his forbidden feelings for Princess Twilight Sparkle. Maintaining a professional stance while adhering to the law of the land proves an even more difficult task, especially when his one act of defiance only seems to awaken the seething rebellion within him.

When Flash is assigned to escort Twilight to the Crystal Empire at Princess Celestia's insistence, tensions on all sides only seem to escalate.

This is a parody of "The Count of Monte Cristo" starring Spike the Dragon. When the dragon is presumed dead by his friends, but is in reality given a chance at a brand new exciting life, a whole new world opens up for the dragon. With a new name, and wealth beyond measure, Spike hopes to get revenge on those who wronged him, and become worthy of the love of his life, Rarity.

Author's Note: I LOVED "The Count of Monte Cristo"! It was just incredible! You have to read the book, or at least see a movie. Of course, this isn't an exact parody (No prison, no treasure hunt, and a few other things), also, I don't exactly remember the book word for word anyway. However, I do believe that you will enjoy this fan fic, whether you like or have read the book or not.

Fluttershy is trapped in a place she doesn't recognize, trying to find her friends and figure out how she got there. She's being pursued by something... and all she knows is to be afraid of it. Though the distance between Pinkie Pie and her five closest friends has grown in the half-century since they claimed their Elements, she does what she can to prevent the others from drifting away.
