Heya folks! This will be a quick blog, more rapid update outta necessity than witty commentary, so i'll cut straight to the chase. I've got good and bad news. The good, in my opinion, outweight the bad! But you be the judge:
Story reviews are interesting because, sure, you can use them to know if a certain book will be the right one for you? But I feel they’re more useful when the review is in itself a tool to talk about storytelling in general. You review a book, but the book is a jumping-off point to discuss what it means to have good pacing; stuff like that.
Comic number Twelve was colored by the heartbreakingly talented Mousse, without whom I'd be blind, deaf, and I would be lacking at least one of my legs that I know of.
Happy Valentine's day! A lot of these comics are Halloween themed, but as I said in the comics, I find emotional vulnerability scary, so. Hope you liked it!
Thanks, Aragon; a blisteringly funny set as always! Thoughm now I find myself wanting to write a story about Carrot Top getting saddled with reams of terrible relationship advice from an increasingly Aragon-ified bunch of Ponyvillians...
Fluttershy: "...I'm sorry, Rarity, but Opal is beyond help. The kindest thing you could do would be to have her put to sleep. It's the surest way to make certain this doesn't spread..."
But we're missing a perspective, what did Pinkie think of the graphic jack o' lantern? Because I'd love to see Pinkie agreeing that someone else needs therapy.
Number 16 needs explaining to me. Why does it mention a bulge? Is the joke that the cat has noticed Rarity is pregnant, and Fluttershy is scared to tell Rarity?
8. Okay, question: Does werewolves' inability to be killed by non-silver weapons just mean that they can't be killed by them or that they can't be injured by them at all? If the latter, how were they able to knock it out with a (presumably non-silver) baseball bat?
12. "The thing about pride; it tells you the fall was worth it." Genuine chills down my spine.
15. Profit is a means to an end, not an end in and of itself; focusing on generating profit at the expense of all else is mission creep, or mission retreat as the case may be. A business needs to generate profit, yes, but so that it can continue to go about its true mission, whatever that may be.
5637803 Generally speaking, they have regeneration stopped by silver. You're not going to kill them with anything else, but most predators will eventually take a hint and look for easier prey if you batter them enough (with mundane predators, this is often any retaliation at all).
You know Aragon, I almost hate how much I love your content. It is wonderful every single time and never fails to make me laugh. Seriously, your character expressions and dialogue are top notch 10/10
You don't seem like the type who would do it, but you're the author I most suspect of arranging a Faustian deal with the devil in exchange for infinite cleverness and talent. Even just the two line poems alone are fucking brilliant. "The Lost make mazes their homestead" that's art. Do you ever write song lyrics? I think you would be exceedingly good at it.

Lovely collection. Thank you for compiling it. And given how long Pinkie's lived in my head, it only feels fair to inhabit hers for a bit.
Screw football, new Aragon comic just dropped.
Fun fact: i tried to bully him into posting twitter comics as one big comic a few months ago and he immediately shrugged me off.
Cue three months later when this fucker decides he has the greatest idea of his life.
He’s lucky he still has that leg.
Okay, for real though, we should've let Pinkie pack heat ages ago.
#12: So you've read The Screwfly Letters?

BUT PUPPY BOWL
Excellent compilation, Aragon.

That was how she found out her girlfriend and the other Twilight were switching places for Halloween.
All I needed was the punchline to the intro comic, everything else was gravy. :D

H.... how many legs do you know of?
Man. Vinyl really hit the jackpot.

Idea for alternate #16:
Fluttershy: "...I'm sorry, Rarity, but Opal is beyond help. The kindest thing you could do would be to have her put to sleep. It's the surest way to make certain this doesn't spread..."
I think I'll go check on the Superbowl scor--- Oh, heck. Aragon posted.
(read, read, read)
👍
Amazing.
So... Starlight is the party bard?
I'll see myself out. You've been wonderful!
I scared my cat by laughing too hard.
...I'm okay with this.
(Seriously, please give Pinkie a gun if this is the result...)
Another outstanding collection! I particularly liked #12.
Giving Pinkie a gun is hilarious. And terrifying.
Please, by all means
keep up the comics! They usually fall into one of two categories: comfortingly funny, or unfathomably based.
Aragon, I simply love your comics, and I adore the epithets you give your Patrons.
The only thing stopping me from stealing your power is my lack of a passport and complete inability to navigate non-English speaking countries.
Keep up the good work, buddy ;-)

...and increasingly necessary.

Trixie and Starlight are the OTP unquestionably
