Heya folks! This will be a quick blog, more rapid update outta necessity than witty commentary, so i'll cut straight to the chase. I've got good and bad news. The good, in my opinion, outweight the bad! But you be the judge:
The Good
Story reviews are interesting because, sure, you can use them to know if a certain book will be the right one for you? But I feel they’re more useful when the review is in itself a tool to talk about storytelling in general. You review a book, but the book is a jumping-off point to discuss what it means to have good pacing; stuff like that.
Good morning. This is, from my point of view, a comedy blog. From the point of view of my family and loved ones, it's a horror story.

In what might be the most hilariously on-brand move on my part, I am currently facing a lot of hardships because I was too stupid to be stupid. I was too good at studying, and now I'm in deep shit. Classic Aragón, let me tell you.
Fuck it, I wanted to do a full storytelly blog about it, and I will? But I won't have access to a keyboard in at least a week, so.
I passed the judge exam!!! Which is fucking insane when you think about how hard the deck was stacked against me, and also that it was my very first time taking it.
Today at roughly 8am I got a call from my father. I've been up studying since 5:30am, so I didn't immediately react to it, I just picked up the phone and went "yeah? Hi, dad, what's up?"
He then told me my grandmother had passed away. Her condition had been getting worse lately, turns out, but they kept it from me. They didn't want to worry me and distract me from my studies, which I think is sweet.
No sense in keeping it a secret now, though.
The first time she saw me, she gave me a rose.
It was pink, she said, because pink is my favorite color. She was wearing a yellow sundress, and even though it was raining outside, it made it feel like true summer.
I took the rose, and she hugged me, and her touch was light and breezy. She knew I was tired from thirteen hours of flying, so she hugged me tight, but not as tight as she wanted to, just in case it would hurt.
