Vile Soil is immigrating to the newly founded Equestria to find a very stable place to live. Barely anypony else has dared to go there. It may've become one of the sturdiest countries to live in, but there may be some secrets behind it that has caused such scarcity in immigration. What if two events combined over sixteen thousand years ago was happening in Equestria?

Instead of going back to when Rainbow Dash performed the sonic rainboom that brought her and her friends together, Twiliight thought back to when her world's Sombra was defeated. When he was, everyone else was crystallized protected against the explosion by the crystal heart. But Sombra wans't just defeated, he was destroyed. That gives her the key to intervening with the war between Equestria and the Crystal Empire. Twilight has to destroy King Sombra in order to stop the crystal soldiers from attacking.

Luna was starting to notice the lack of basking in her night. Whatever basking there was of the moon was considered taboo and even shunned upon. But those who have, still kept strong. One filly in particular, was not so lucky though. Her basking of both day of night for years have caused her several bruises from her father. One day, the filly's mother caught the father doing that same thing to cause the little filly's bruises when she had to stay home. Now, the mother has taken this injustice to Princess Luna, who was glad to help out this young filly.

Josh lives on his own, now as a Wonderbolt in Equestria. However, he's been suspicious of where Tail Flight and Wind Rust have been gaining their Equestrian memories. But one more problem arises. Tail Flight and Wind Rust are losing their feline memories prior to the senior prank. The only way to stop that? Bring the two home. However, what will that mean? Will Josh still be a Wonderbolt? If Josh returns to Equestria, how will he return? Most of all, will Tail Flight and Wind Rust be with him if he returns?

Reminiscing about the senior prank, Josh comes home with his copy of his letter he wrote for Tail Flight, Wind Rust and Wiretap to a surprise, three in fact, he never thought would've been this possible. Going to Equestria, reuniting with Tail Flight, Wind Rust and Wiretap, and finally, flying. And because he was taken to Equestria, Josh never had to go to school again. But it just so happened that he was about to see a race as well with a celebration afterwards.
