Queen Light hasn't expanded her hive in years, and her changelings' supply of love is running out as she has eggs ready to hatch, so she goes to Queen Chrysalis, who's also hatching eggs, to join forces to expand both hives. What they don't notice is that the newest grub of each hive might stand in the way. One day, Hatch, of Queen Light's hive, stumbles upon Queen Chrysalis' only egg that hasn't been split. She needs a hive of her own as she's been deprived of love from her queen. The result is Hatch and Gac going beyond the northern borders to turn Equestria into their own hive, facing adversities along the way, and forming an unlikely but good example for other hives to follow.

It's almost the three year anniversary of when Jon found Carina. Just over a week before the new month arrives, Jon finds a thread, talking about a two part 44 minute animation, that has a significant amount of comments. What they read reveals something dark about the name of Carina's kind. Carina finding out is one thing, but how will 34 month old Aita take it?

Lots and lots of condensed pain in Carina. But during a visit to the vet, Jon learns what's causing Carina so much pain. There's just one thing. It has to come out.

When Jon least expects it, his original prediction has potentially come true as one night, Carina doesn't return from Headrest Centre. And without Carina, police can't investigate the mall for any evidence. But maybe Jon's Kima AV Blade 5 could help him find out what happened. Meanwhile, a starving Carina has found herself in some weird structure that somehow closes and opens holes on its own, like it's alive.

Jonathan Vibe is a filming urban explorer in the state of Minnesota. After filming in an empty mall, Jon goes outside one day to see what looks like a meteor. After arriving where the "meteor" crashed, he finds what looks like a mix between a bug and a pony. The only thing is, it doesn't remember its past.

Disc is a refugee of Rayon, home to woolies and changelings alike. He's seen the first defeat of Polly and Esther. He's taken home a bobcat, after changing into a wooly. And after posing as said bobcat to foil Polly and Esther's plans himself, he was ready to return to Earth. However, when heading to his destination, he suddenly accelerates through a wormhole and crash lands near a changeling hive. However, he learns just what hive he is actually in.

Perhaps one small step is all it takes to improve the present.

However, that's not what Air Vent experiences.

When Air Vent trades calendars with Queen Shell, she figures out how to change the past for the better. Or so she thinks. All she wanted to do was to see her present mother one last time. But she has to go through her present first.

The New Dust Ride has long passed. It seemed to be better, except that it's not. Dry Stone, Air Wiff and Aura Draft find anything they can to get through the remains of Equestria. Things may not turn out so bright through it all though.

Air Vent, daughter of Air Wiff, lives in a town full of changelings. She and her mother aren't changelings themselves but they've gotten by without much trouble until now. Air Vent will not only learn about how big of an impact her past has been, but will learn that sometimes it's better to have more than one pony or changeling to look up to.

Ponyville is mysteriously wiped off the map, dust rises over all of Equestria, the princesses die of dust sickness, and eternal day emerges. All seems lost until the ponies occupying the radohome in former Ponyville start to investigate why all of this happened.
