Chapters VIII-XII are from a technically complete first draft, posted in hope of providing closure as I don't see myself properly finishing this story. Read at your own peril.

Who is Adagio? The immortal scourge of two worlds? The living embodiment of dangerous beauty and musical perfection?

Or is she a lost soul in need of a friend? A sister struggling to reunite her fractious family before it's too late?

...A strange girl who can't possibly be all the things she looks like?

Graciously provided with editing, prereading, and occasional beverage consultation by forbloodysummer.

Coverart by Lucy-Tan.

When Adagio turned up shortly after the Battle of the Bands with apparently no memory of ever being a siren, Sunset wasn’t convinced right away. But since then, she and the former siren have grown very close and carved out new lives for themselves. They’re stable, and happy with each other.

Until Adagio starts remembering.

In Equestria, it was an unforgettable experience to meet a siren. Whether it was her beauty or her power, the danger of her fangs or the majesty of her song, those fortunate enough to escape would be scarred for the rest of their days.

Aria is no longer a siren, and hence no longer unforgettable.

Edited Torn to pieces and rebuilt following advice from forbloodysummer.

All her life, Adagio has presented herself as the very image of perfection. She had it all: beauty, charisma, a formidable mind and the power to bend minds to her whims. One fateful night, she finds herself toppled from her position of power, struck down by a force even greater than her own. Now, she must confront her failure and admit that she may not be as perfect as she claims.

Set in the same continuity as two other stories, Requiem and Repose, but knowledge of neither is required.

Cover art by the ridiculously amazing Wubcake. Check out her stuff and shower her with praise.

Many thanks to SpiritOfDancingFlames for proofreading.

Two worlds in many ways as different from each other as possible, and yet they share a sky. Late one night, Adagio turns to that familiar sky to calm her nerves and to reminisce. Along the way, she has a chance encounter with a hated rival with similar ideas.

Inspired by a brief line back in season 1 and a handful of deductions that may or may not be completely invalid. But it's all magical anyway, so why not?

Everyone has secrets. Sometimes they tell people about them, sometimes they don't. Even after hundreds of years, there are still things Adagio hasn't told Sonata.

When Sonata finds a book full of Adagio's secrets, she just can't resist reading it.
