Out of all the old Zeldas, the only ones I've played were A Link To The Past, Links Awakening, Minish Cap, and Four Swords Adventures. Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, and Wind Waker I don't consider old, but I have played them.
Skyward Sword was my favorite of all the newer Zeldas. Twilight Princess was my favorite Zelda with non-Ocarina instruments.
Midna was irritating some times, but not compared to Navi.

I'm afraid that while they might get some cameo appearances, I'm probably not gonna involve them in the plot in any major way, at least not to the level in which I've involved (and plan to continue involving) Trixie.

There's a video game called Okami, where you play as the Sun Goddess Amaterasu, who takes the form of a white wolf. The whole game had numerous subtle Shout Outs to various Legend of Zelda games.
Then Nintendo returned the favor with Twilight Princess, where you have constellate deities, a world-cleansing mechanic, and Link turning into a wolf for no apparent in-game reason!
Now, Twilight's quest here is to save the Sun Princess, so why not include some Okami elements in this fanfic? You know, some Celestial Brush techniques, character expys, links to some Okami songs in the right places...you get the idea.
Think you can work with that?

Also, I somehow suspect that failing to perform the Sonic Rainboom will make Rainbow Dash a little humbler than she is in canon.
