good good now update 50 chapters within the next week

This seems a lot like the Star Trek: The Next Generation season 7 episode 16 'Thine Own Self'. Apart from forgetting to capitalize some I's, it seems interesting... Faved.

I suppose that it's... readable at the moment. Just don't expect a flood of upvotes, I'm actually surprised at how you already got six upvotes, no downvotes.

I'm the main character and I will remember the face punch execution from Gears of War 2
and execute it upon many a Pony face. *Thwack* *SMACK* *SMACK*

1485098 That probably isn't gonna happen, this is sorta a side story I work on if I don't feel like working on my other one. Well, people seem to like this one better so I guess I'll work on it a little harder.

1485420 That episode actually inspired this story. Only difference is hes not a star fleet officer or an android.

It's a little too early to tell, not much has happened so far and there's Lyra as one of the characters so this deserves a watch.

However, there's a huge, glaring plot hole in this story. The memory loss. You've gone the Hollywood route of him not knowing anything including for some reason who Jesus Christ is as well as what a rifle is. Amnesia does not work that way. At best he'd forget his identity and his history but wouldn't forget things like how to speak, how to walk or dress himself or the names of objects. The part where he's repeating what Applejack says is a little far fetched.

But yeah, I want to see what Lyra says about the human.

Edit: I take it all back. After having read your plagiarism of "Xenophilia" starting in chapter 6 of "Life of Vayhe", you don't deserve a watch. Taking a concept is one thing, using an idea is okay but lifting whole passages and changing a word here and there just shows you're too lazy and untalented to write your own stuff.

1485754 Looks interesting, but I hope you don't decide to rip off the entire plot of "Thine Own Self", as I always felt it was one of The Next Generation's weaker episodes... :applejackunsure:

I shall see how this continues.
And see what your other story is about:twilightsmile:

Seems decent, allthough I think you should fix up the formatting later. 'Tis no big issue though.
Awaiting further releases.:fluttershysad:

Let me guess, the human is a soldier? :ajsmug:

Judging by the cover art... He's a Vietnam soldier?

1485098 OK, never mind, I am going to be working on this a lot. I've been getting a lot of criticism on my other story, so I took it down. So now I just have this story to focus on. Can't rush perfection I guess... *Sighs*

1487734
Getting a lot of criticism because you were f*cking plagiarising from Xenophillia and poorly at that!
I just wish I had gotten some screenshots which would have gotten you banninated.

1488878 Ugh... Don't you have something better to do besides commenting on all my stuff? If you don't like it, don't read it and go read something you enjoy.

1488930
I'm just pointing out to everybody here that you're a plagiarist. Did you honestly think you could get away with it? Not only was the style completely different from your own but it was riddled with errors when you tried to redo it for yourself. And the worst part of this is, you act like it's not a big deal.

I think you're safe though. I doubt anybody would want to plagiarise your work.

1488967 Ugh... I'm done arguing with you.

.1488976
Who's arguing? I just want to know why you thought you could get away with it?

lol
mysterious amnesiac human in Equestria plot
random image of unknown human soldier for cover art
single 1200 word chapter
author is a plagiarist
author gets butthurt when this is pointed out
author deletes shit to cover his tracks
people getting butthurt about plagiarism
people raging on comments
ahahahaha
win

Also, this story is kind of mediocre. Just saying. It hits like 50% of all cliches in the MLP fandom. Just saying.

1493823 Its far from whatever your thinking.

Story shows promise, but you're in a lot of people's crosshairs right now. I just read the whole plagiarism thing on Evil Homer's blog which is what led me here in the first place. Frankly, I'm shocked at the whole thing.

As far as some people are concerned you're going to be fighting an uphill battle here in order to regain any kind of cred that you might have had. Showing them you can actually write a good story is the first step in this.

1497463 TBH, I just did that to shave a few hours off my work, but this story... can't rush perfection.

1497468
You're taking the piss now right?

Are you saying that you stole a whole chapter, did the editing to match your story, missed some key elements in the process and tried to pass it off in order to save a couple hours of work? Please tell me you're joking.

1497480 Ugh... yeah, I'd just like to forget about that.

1497485
This is why I said you're in people's crosshairs.

You just want to forget about what you did, yet give smartass responses when asked about it which means they're not going to forget and they will continue to bring it up. Right now I'm not impressed with your response to all this. The story shows promise, it's by no means great but this attitude you've got is going to put a lot of people off your work.

I'm not saying you need to repent, I'm just saying you should act a little bit sorry for what you did.

I'll be watching and I'm sure the TWE as well as others are watching you as well.

1497496 Ugh... I took the story down, Evil Homer shamed me, and I sent an apology to the author of Xenophilia. What more do they want? Money? My laptop smashed to pieces? Or can they just forgive me and move on with their lives.

1497506
How about you can the fucking attitude and not act like it was a joke.

I'm trying really hard here to not dismiss you as a person and simply see this as a mistake you made that you're sorry for but I'm not getting that. What I'm hearing from you is not that you're sorry for what you did but sorry that you were caught.

Can you give me a reason to follow this story of yours or should I just agree with Evil Homer that you're not worth the time?

1497522 OK, I'm not worth the time. but note I am sorry, I really am. I took the story down as Evil Homer told me too, and I sent two apology letters to the author of Xenophilia and I haven't got message back saying he forgives me. Seems like no one cares if I'm sorry or not, So I just blow that off. No one wants to forgive me and they can just screw off.

1497531

I said give me a reason to follow you and this is what I get. More of the same stuff.

Whatever, I guess the crosshairs are going to be on your back for a long time to come but I won't be one of them. You're not worth the effort to follow.

1497540 its your choice whether you want to follow me or not. I don't see why I need to convince you. if you don't like it, don't read it.

Just a piece of advice, apparently many fellow writers does not appreciate the kind of *this happens* format.
...thoughI don't really mind.
Excellent work.:pinkiehappy:
Awaiting further releases.:fluttershysad:

Uncle Ben, huh? No Crossover tags, so he's not the son of a rice magnate, and his name isn't Peter Parker... :rainbowlaugh:

I really hope those bottles in his backpack aren't booze... though Equestria does have cider, so they might know what alcohol is... :applejackunsure:

1498439 Ben was a fairly common name back then

1499486 :pinkiehappy: I was just teasing... hence the :rainbowlaugh: . Pretty good story so far! Keep it up, please!

WOOOO!!! I ALL WAY WANTED TO DO THIS!!!! FIRST 1 1 1!!!! oh and great chapter:derpytongue2:

1507118 Um, thanks loyal fan. *throws money at computer screen*

The hell...... Soldier with Vigors from bioshock and outfit from assassins creed? Whats next... A lightsaber? A dog tag saying "Logan / Wolverine"!?

But you're moving too fast with Lyra! Meets her, instant friends.... Okay. Wakes up next day, like they been long living best friends. Then what can only be at top an hour, they're like a couple long in a relationship?

You've already gotten this from others, but when someone get afflicted by amnesia, you don't forget mundane things like, 'what do I eat' or 'how does this work', because of things like muscle memory and instinctual knowlegde.

Seems like things will be very fortunate for the amnesiac:pinkiehappy:.
Awaiting further releases.:fluttershysad:

1508067 Yeah. Vigors and an assassin outfit. Let's just say Samson is a well traveled person.

1509344 Well traveled person?
....
....
HEY! Where's my 'universal inter-dimensional flux-reality time-distortion' device with chameleon circuits and space manipulation!

Jokes aside, don't give him too many toys practically making him a ''god'', but rather let ''Samson'' discover some weaknesses.
In this story The protagonist is, in a sense, an artificially made god, but the protagonist thought it was boring and set limitations on himself (his power is no greater than his enemy in combat) beside his personal flaws like somewhat short temper (not a 'Gary Stu' character)!

1509382 he's not exactly god-like, Sure hes a really tough human and has vigors, but what happens when those vigors run out? No more powers.

1509382 Oh, and remember, he doesn't really know how to act like himself, because frankly he doesn't remember anything about himself, I can't really think of any weaknesses about him right now.

hakuna matata
no worries for the rest of your days.
and happy hanaka
