A few years ago I read Ajin... I wasn't prepared for it, I thought it was a Seinen like others I read, with a dark story but it wasn't very graphic with things... I was wrong, I read several chapters but... It was too much for me, but what happened in this chapter reminded me that the Ajin have their own wills, They usually follow what their wielder orders them to do, but they also do things on their own... Some harmful to their wielder, either harm to the wielder or unintentional harm to others.
