In the year 2011, Equestria was reunited with their ancient allies, the Human race, and they worked together to fight off a Dragon invasion. One hundred and ten years later, the Human race has been utterly destroyed by an invading force from another planet and two beings, one Ditzy Doo and the other Doctor Whooves, are trying to find a way to prevent it from happening.
Not knowing what the future holds, Jacob Lighthand is living as a student alongside Trixie under princess Luna, living his life as any other being would. But that's about to change once again.

Alright, I admit it, this fic will probably never be finished, but I recently have been feeling the itch to work on it again. We'll see how far it gets.
A shame, really. I'd intended to do one more after this one that completed the Magi Time Lord cycle.
Yeah, just the prologue. and yeah, I know, "Daleks AGAIN?! Be original, or at least less cliche!"
Well, what would you have me use? Almost every other race that the Doctor had to deal with could be killed by one form of Human weapon or another. The Cybermen might have resisted bullets, but explosives (and perhaps just a taser if you recall that one electrical weapon that woman used when the Doc, Rose, and Mickey got stuck in that alternate world where Rose's father was alive and Rose herself was a pet dog) kill them just fine and eventually we'd beat them back on our own. The Odd (Or Ood, or however it's spelled. Those aliens that were a slave race that looked like mind flayers) die easier than we do, the Sontarans (a clone race, for those that don't know) could die pretty easily too as long as they didn't disable Human guns and such first. I know there are more more races that I could potentially use, such as perhaps following the possibility that, unlike in the original Satan Pit episode, The Devil, rather than dying, escapes and then proceeds to take over the galaxy, but I'll leave that adventure to someone else.
The only race that would pose a real threat are the Daleks.
This is probably the first fic I've read where the two have ever been ALLIES. hmmm

There is a point in the previous story where Jacob, Twilight, and Applejack are waiting for an audience with Celestia that two Zebras walk out and say tell Jacob that he's tall. They have a short conversation, and at some point they say that they'd seen another Human carrying a violin in their homeland before the Dragons began attacking them.
If you read all the previous fics that I've written, all of them will make references to their predecessors at one point or other, connecting them to it. It's kind of my Writer's Signature. At the time when I included that bit, it was just an oddity that I decided to add. I had no intention at that time of writing a sequel, but when I got to the end of Last Mage, I decided that I'd link a few of the oddities from that fic (like Jacob spotting the TARDIS after finishing his training session with Luna that one night) into this one to make it part of a 'larger design' if you will.

In fact, it seemed pretty balanced overall, but, as you are the author, I respect and understand your decision to have less conversation. Back on story-topic, I don't think I'm doing a good job on The Doctor. He just feels...out of character. But then, there were multiple Docs, so maybe I'm trying to blend them, but it doesn't feel quite right...too much salt, not enough flour, and we have no baking soda.
