Very interesting premise! It was intriguing to read the mystery and how it unfolded, and how the war tied in. I will say improvement could be in more detailed description of characters and the landscape, and just more commas and less capitalization on certain words like stallion and mare.

A very cool read so far!! I like the set up the ongoing conflict in the back that explains the eventual worry and reveal the MC has! My advice is just some general grammar and editing with dialogue structure, as well as a few more descriptions of the characters!
