Very interesting fic, with the reveal of how it was spread hitting shockingly. The tone was very fitting, while not very deep in details, it's how someone would write in a journal. The lack of defense of humanity is hidden within the dates and the intelligence of the attackers, going out only all at once.
Just one thing: For the end I was confused why the last chapter was put in the author's notes, as it's part of the fic. To differentiate, one could put it in quotes or a different format, but an author's note is per se an author's note.
Nonetheless, a quick, enjoyable read with a slow buildup to what is happening
Honestly, the part that most bothers me is how plants are generating CO2. But they’re alien horrors from beyond the stars, so I suppose there’s some leeway there.
Engrossing tale of slowly unfolding horror. Every time it seems like it’s as bad as it gets, a new layer reveals itself. Nice work.
