Starlight Fan

I am a big fan of Starlight Glimmer most of my stories center around her. I do crossovers as well.

Some ponies had very different rules when it came to relationships. One rule is known as the three strike rule where if a partner disappoints the other too much three times, they end the relationship. It was a controversial choice and Starlight never thought she’d need that rule when it came to her relationship with Trixie, but sometimes she can only be hurt so much.

I can't say that I fault the logic. Good story. Might want to consider taking the 'Romance' tag out and replace it with 'Slice of Life'. Nothing romantic about a breakup.

The StarTrix fans are gonna have a field day with this one

They can hate all they want, but this isn’t exactly the most OOC portrayal of them.

Well with Twilight being dictator head princess of Equestria, I guess that counts her out as a potential marefriend for her. My guess is she remains single, although I do love StarShy and think it would be cute....and I do not consider FlutterCord to be canon nor will I ever.

Why do you like StarShy but not Fluttercord? Is it lesbian bias or something else?

Trixie will never deserve someone like Starlight.

Interesting read and a fair rule I suppose.

I think it really does a good job at seeing how selfish Trix is.

What do you mean Trixie doesn’t deserve someone like Starlight?

Probably is a plausible outcome, and likely not one of the worst ways that might have ended, for the both of them, even if the nature of the mistake was rather serious.

I can't help but be inclined to think/agree StarTrix is not something liable to end well, because if them being friends can involve that much friction at times, then... I think Life After Death is another interesting example of how it might go wrong/fall apart.

(I concur about the Slice of Life note/change; it's just more fitting, and the ending is very ambiguous on what she meant, exactly.)

It was nice to see Spike be able to empathize and relate to Starlight over this, because of that Rarity crush, which is really also its own can of worms, that thing as a whole.

Dunno what else they'd be expecting. At worst I think that could very plausibly go to cheating (that one is... unfortunate), or even anger-driven violence probably.

I felt Spike was the best choice to go with when it came to relating to problematic relationships and yeah, I wanted to have StarTrix end in a not too horrible way. I’m not a sadist you know.

Starlight is amazingly wonderful. On a scale of dateability I'd give her a 10.

Trixie is obnoxious, arrogant, flippant, selfish, and cowardly. I'd give her a 3ish and that's mostly cause of looks. Trixie is so much further down the totem pole than Starlight is.

I simply don't care for the ship....then again outside of Sugar Belle x Big Mac I do tend to have a lesbian ship bias. Also, that moment at the end of "The Cutie Re-Mark Part 2" made me ship them.
