I am a big fan of Starlight Glimmer most of my stories center around her. I do crossovers as well.
When King Sombra attacked Equestria, Starlight ended up taking a blast for Twilight so she wouldn’t have to. After the madness ends, Twilight begs Starlight to never do that again. Starlight wishes she could keep that promise but she knows it’s impossible.

A nice little fic. It was a little rough around the edges in a few places, most notably:

Other than that and a few tense issues, the other problems are mostly nit-picky punctuation and style stuff. Nothing too major, and certainly not enough to detract from the enjoyment. Overall, I'd say this is a cool glimpse of what a relationship between these two could look like. Felt a little short, but maybe that's just me wanting more from a genuinely good idea, which isn't really a bad thing. It just means you did a great job writing an interesting premise.
Sweet but a bit short. Doing the scene with Starlight saving Twilight (what they were thinking, the pain, the devastation on Twilight as she witnesses it) could've gone a long way. Still enjoyable though.
