Great story. Could use more detail, but I can tell a lot of heart went into this.
As for the m vs. t rating it's entirely up to you.

We all know these stories are definitely not E, I think T works because of no graphic language and explicit imagery. Now if there was explicit detail than the M rating is needed.

That was my thought when I was going to upload it and reading over the description of each rating. I think teen was fine for it since there was no description of sexual arousal or anything unwholesome about the story except for not telling Scootaloo her plan. But since a couple people seemed to take issue with it I marked it M now. I think some people are a bit to quick to jump on the story settings of others stories and use anger rather then try to be helpful with it but what do I know. I'm just trying to make interesting stories for folks to enjoy that like what some people classify as weird.

Actually that wasn't something I considered in the story. Windy still would raise Scootaloo to be like her old self. That was part of the reason she liked her. Her intent was just to make her a daughter by blood and raise her to perhaps have a family that would be there for her more. Sorry I didn't make that part very clear.

I honestly don't have any ideas for a sequel planned at the moment. Although perhaps a story set in the future when Scoots is grown again may be a possible idea. I don't know what would really happen in that story though.
