I'm a recently returned writer and plan to release alot of stories again.

Scootaloo is presented with the opportunity to have a sleepover when her mom and dad must be called into work one weekend. The pony her mom has in mind is Windy Whistles, Rainbow Dash's mother.

Scootaloo agrees and Windy Whistles promises to do her best to take care of the young pegasus. But even so, her parenting style isn't what Scootaloo's used to and the filly hasn't slept over at Windy's place before.

Despite this, the two will both try to make it a sleepover to remember. And who knows? By the time it's over, they might draw even closer than they already are.

It feels good to read a nice story like this after taking a break from action oriented fiction, and you did well with this one.

This is certainly a nice take on the relationship between Scoots and Dash's parents. I also like how you brought in Scootaloo's real mom while pointing out how the Aunts are more often around to watch her while they are off at work. Great explanation as to why both parents work so much, too. :)

I'm really liking how heartwarming this tale is. Getting to see a motherly side to Windy is nice. The callbacks to how she did similar things for Dashie add quite a bit, too.

Looking forward to more as you get to writing it. Excellent collab!

"Heck, Bow was the weakest flyer in his class, but you’d never know that from the way he flys nowadays.”

I think he was more interested in the ahem rewards for improving, Windy.

Yeah, I'm kind of surprised there's not more stuff involving Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash's parents. Then again, Bow and Windy haven't been seen all that much in fanfics to begin with.

"Nobody sleeps."

YOU GET A FAVORITE JUST FOR CALLING BACK TO THAT G3 GAG! :-)

This is really cute. I know I'm going to follow this and see where it goes.

I did enjoy it. Two chapters was enough for this type of story.

Two chapters is enough for a sweet story of this nature. :rainbowkiss:

Very enjoyable story. Feels like a semi-sequel to "Parental Glideance". I feel like you did a good job of capturing the heart and spirit of the episode with Windy.

Wow... This story went far deeper in the feels than I had ever expected it to. Nicely done in bringing up so many interesting points between the parent problems that Scootaloo must have to deal with almost every day.

Unfortunately I am no stranger to this situation. It's difficult when you feel like you have to 'choose' one parent over another. Even if that parent is not a direct family member. Your love for your true parents, despite how present they are, is always there and it hurts when you do fun things with someone else who comes off more as a parent than your parents. It just doesn't feel right and, to be honest, I think you captured this quite well with this chapter.

I liked how responsible you made windy Whistles. When Scoots wanted to share a bed she, no pun intended, scooed her back to her bed instead of complying. Windy definitely has a firm but gentle presentation that I can definitely believe would be her.

I've seen other stories with Dizzy Twister being Scoots' mom but I've enjoyed this one the most. You created a lot of depth and food for thought in two chapters. *Applause* Bravo!

Yes, best story ever! You should make a sequel where Windy invites Scootaloo to go to the beach with her.

Finally got around to reading it, and it's adorable
