Considering cows only begin producing milk once they're pregnant, Rarity might have a bit of a difficult time on the milker.

Considering the purpose of the spell, this could be explained as a side effect.
I'd love a sequel where Rarity was indeed pregnant with Buck's calf. Plus you can add a bit of intrigue that during her pregnancy she turns into Raricow at odd intervals and she doesn't know why til she sees a doctor about why she is sick and craving weird things (you know standard fair for creature in early stages of pregnancy) then have Twi or AJ figure out how they connect to her transformation at odd times into Raricow
