Your were correct about Grave being grace but for those other two I write the British and Australian way. Australians and British spell it honour not honor and spell recognised instead of recognized. Like metre and meter.

In a way it does. Mythical creature animagus' are extremely rare. But not uncommon. Just rare. And with her biology changed by dark magic, it in a way makes sense

First Astra saw her as a winged unicorn, wizard don't have Alicorns so unicorn would be the term in her eyes. Second we don't much about Dementors or how they came to be as well as we don't know everything about the limits of using dark magic on a wizard or witch for prolonged periods would do to them.
