I often wonder how Pegasi are taught to fly. I suspect it might be something like how eagles do it, drop them from a great height and then keep catching them until they work out how to glide and then how to fly.

Oh, wow.

I really like this. 8/10 for the amazing ending.

I did find a couple of errors: 'hole' instead of 'whole,' and 'hoofs' instead of 'hooves,' etc. Otherwise, it's pretty much fucking perfect, so great job.
