Well from how this chapter went it does look like she has the return by death ability... but at the same time there is the possibility that the "Self aware teenaged japanese boy" still shows up... The question here of course is how will things differ from the actual anime/manga?

He could show up, then die, and we never see him again because he goes to a different timeline. Or he shows up and knows everything and has perfect interactions with everyone because its the very last timeline, since the author wouldn't show failed timelines that Rina, the main protagonist, wouldn't remember.

And so the first loop begins, wonder if Sunset will have it as bad as Subaru tends to. Will also be interesting to see how her looping will affect things when/if Subaru eventually shows up.
