Oooh, this is a good one... Not. This just seems like an excuse for everyone who hates Rainbow Dash to hug their Spike plushies and say he rules, brah. ...Unless you're a legit troll, to which I can't applaud you either as it's not even funny in a sad or pathetic way.

"I DON'T LIKE RAINBOW DASH SO I'M GOING TO MAKE A FANFIC USING A RANDOM CRYSTAL PONY AS A STRAWMAN!" This "story" in a nutshell. EPIC FAIL!
I have absolutely nothing against Rainbow Dash. I just believe that she is not suited for her element. I apologize if you don't like the story.
The premise is interesting, but you could expand this story so it doesn't feel like something you pulled out of a hat.

This story doesn't even give any sort of reason to back up its claim. It's literally just, 'We were wrong' with no evidence given.
The ending is far worse as it not only breaks character for 2 characters to try and make its point, but also makes it look like that Fluttershy doesn't even deserve HER element because of how cruel she was there. And if you're thinking, 'she was only cruel because Rainbow Dash was being mean', the manticore they were attacked by before they even had the Elements of Harmony was more cruel trying to KILL THEM! Heck, Angel is probably a far bigger example of that.
This story is nothing but just saying 'Rainbow Dash doesn't deserve her element' with no real evidence given. So all it accomplished was just the writer saying that they absolutely hate Rainbow Dash, and tried to make them out of character to prove their point.
Interesting. I thought Rainbow Dash likes adventures.I wonder what Scootaloo will think.
