"Beat That Apple Jack!" Rainbow Dash shouted. Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack were playing horse shoe toss, and even though Apple Jack was a natural at the game, Rainbow Dash was in the lead. "arg, best of of 93!" Apple Jack called. Apple Jack and Rainbow Dash had been competing and playing games all day.  Apple Jack won the cider making contest, the foot race, buck ball, and the obstacle course. Rainbow Dash one the Horse shoe toss, truth or dare, the pie making contest, and the foe dizzatron. They had taken a break earlier because Rainbow Insisted on drinking 38 barrels of cider they had made, and that too turned into a competition, and seeing as it involved cider, Rainbow Dash won by a land slide.
After the game was over, Rainbow Dash started to fly home when all of a sudden, Twilight rushed up to her. "You need to come see this, now!" Twilight said. Without waiting to see if Rainbow Dash was following her, she hurried back to the castle. "Now, I have to warn you, this will come as quite a shock. I was not expecting it." Twilight warned. Whatever had Twilight so frazzled, Rainbow Dash thought she could handle it. She did not know how wrong she was. 
When the two ponies burst into the Throne Room, Rainbow Dash gasped. She could not believe what she saw. There was a Pony standing in the middle, who seemed to be made entirely of crystals. The pony, who now seemed to remind Rainbow Dash of the Tree of Harmony. The crystal pony, who seemed slightly embarrassed, finely spoke."I come on behalf of the Tree Of Harmony." The pony exclaimed. "Well that explains her looks." Rainbow Dash muttered.
"I am sorry to inform you that there has been a mistake." The pony continued. "The Element of Loyalty, which you have used repeatedly, does not belong to you." At first, Rainbow Dash was completely speechless, which was a first. Then, she was enraged. "How dare you. I have successfully used MY element in a number of scenarios, which have saved Equestria a number of times." Rainbow bellowed. "Alas it does not belong to you, the Tree of Harmony has decided that, in a number of situations, you did not live up to the Element of Loyalty. The Tree of Harmony has decided that Spike the Dragon, has in fact shown more loyalty then you." The pony stated.
When the Tree pony said that, Rainbow Dash finally realized Spike Standing by Twilights throne looking Sheepish, and wearing none other than the Element of Loyalty." Hey! Give that back Spike, it's mine!" Rainbow Dash shrieked, her voice cracking. "Sorry Dash, but I don't think that I can do that. It isn't like I want the element,it won't come off, plus, It doesn't even have your Cutie Mark anymore." Spike apologized. "What do you mean it does not have my Cutie Mark on it!? Of course it has my Cutie Mark on it. It is mine! I will get you back for this. Mark my words Spike." Rainbow Swore.
Even though she said that, Rainbow Dash noticed that instead of her Cutie Mark, the Element had morphed into something that appeared to be a dragon wing."Well, I need to get going, I am sorry again that you were not good enough to have the element. Maybe there is an element of short-temperdness that you will get." With that, the Crystal Pony smirked at his comment, he was clearly enjoying Rainbow Dash's misery, and with that, the crystal pony disappeared.
Rainbow could not comprehend what had happened, and who could blame her. In one day, she meet the speaker for the Tree of Harmony, who had told her that she was not the rightful owner of the Element of Loyalty, and who had then given HER element to Spike, a baby dragon who had gotten his wings just a month ago.  What had he done that she did not do, could not do.
Rainbow Dash swore that if she ever saw that horrible crystal pony ever again, then she would make him pay for what he had done to her. As Rainbow Dash left, she thought of how she could get her element back, then, she had an idea. Did she even want her element back. Sure, having the element and saving the day made her popular, but the Element of Loyalty also came with a lot of work. And if the Tree of Harmony took back her, or eh, Spike's element, that might also mean that Rainbow Dash would not have to go on any more map adventures to.
Later that night... Rainbow Dash heard a knock on her door. It was Fluttershy. " Oh Rainbow Dash, Twilight told us what happened, I am so sorry, Twilight has called a meeting at the castle. We should hurry if we are going to get there on time." Fluttershy rushed. "Ha, I am not going anywhere. Since I no longer have the Element of Loyalty, then Twilight Sparkle can't boss me around anymore. This is not my problem anymore." Rainbow Dash said lazily. " What, but, she is still your friend, and this still concerns you. Plus, Spike will need help figuring out how to use his element!" Fluttershy said. "Oh please, you all have elements, you show the grand old Spike the Brave and glorious dragon, besides, I want to go back to bed. Bye Fluttershy." With that, Rainbow Slammed the door in Fluttershy's face. "No wonder the Tree said it made a mistake! You definitely do NOT represent the Element of Loyalty." Fluttershy shouted to the closed door.
As Fluttershy explained what had happened at Rainbow Dash's home to her friends, they all were as disappointed in Rainbow Dash as Fluttershy had been. They all felt betrayed, and they all agreed that Spike was, and had always been more loyal than Rainbow Dash, and had even filled in for her one time when Discord took over. When they remembered all the pranks Rainbow Dash had pulled on them throughout the years, in addition to her lazy attitude, they all felt the Same Thing. Good Riddance!
