Inspired by Tim Ribbert and the video games chronicles.
When Twilight comes across a book she has never seen before, she and her friends are sucked into it and end up in a whole different world. There they meet a girl named Cornet, a cheerful girl who can talk to puppets and plays a horn that grants wishes, and her best friend Kururu, a puppet that has the heart and soul of a human. Cornet dreams of finding her dream prince one day. When Prince Ferdinand, who Cornet is in love with, is turned to stone by by the self-proclaimed "most beautiful witch in the world." The witch, Marjoly, also has a crush on the prince and meant to put him to sleep, but messed up the spell and accidentally turned him to stone. Now it's up to our heroes to help Cornet find a way to save the prince and break the spell.
Given the game has some corny songs and the show has corny friendship... it’s a perfect match! Do your best and don’t take my comment too serious please.

So right off the bat we get a scenario that almost gives the feeling of 'The Disney Chronicles', only instead of a sleepover the girls (And Spike) are apparently hosting a book club kind of gathering, reading a book, discussing the material, the usual stuff. And somewhere down the line, one of Twilight's books (Whom I didn't think she knew she even had) is suddenly glowing, drawing them to a story they are only just hearing about, and much like a Season episode AND the start of the 'Disney Chronicles' end up sucked into the story where the action is about to kick off. Now granted, I have never heard of this 'Rhapsody' game before so it's going to be completely new for me.
For a first chapter... There's that familiar feel to it that makes it difficult to come off as anything 'new' or 'different'. But I do want to see what this story can pull off.

Well I did point out the similarities with 'The Disney Chronicles' (The transportation through the book among things) but I'm hoping from here on at least this story tries it's best to be different.

should be interesting. I never played the game myself personally, though I could easily pick it up on PSN. I honestly never touched much of Nippon Ichi's games save for a little of the first Disgaea. Also, if this was in the same game cave as in the game quest fics, I could imagine a PS1 startup theme as they enter.
