To be fair, there is always that one person in every group. When I was a teen, my group of friends had Frank, and Frank was always the one person who could be counted on to make a bad situation worse. It was like a super power he had. He just instinctively always knew the worst possible thing to say in any situation and he was never able to not say it.

Ok, I just now caught up and I have to say that I both like and hate this story. It''s a dam good story and it's kept my interest, but at the same time, It really grinds my gears how nothing these ponies are doing are coming back to haunt them. I truly dislike situations where nasty people get away with being nasty with no consequences. Its far too much like how the real world works for my liking.
There is a meme here on this site where the ponies are vicious, racist, malicious and nasty to a human or humans and the human turns around and saves that ponies life like a great big hero. I hope to god that this Author does not put that into this story, because I will fling my monitor through my wall.
Bad guys should get what they deserve, not be forgiven and hugged because so many of us on this site suffer from Stockholm syndrome.
As irate as the ponys treatment of the humans in this story makes me, I look forward to seeing where this great Author takes us next.

It wouldn't make sense for the princesses to be racist. we don't know when exactly the princesses were born but we could guess it was around the era of the three tribes so they were around not only to hear but also see the damage racism and hate cause

The problem is that ponies are trying to act like most of the time, they themselves aren't acting and things exactly like how humans are doing crap, like breaking in their homes, imprisoning without evidence, even hitting kids without mercy nust because they can.
Hell I'm pretty sure that half the stories about humans are just exacerbated stories ponies made because they like to make EVERYTHING a big deal. It's also most likely all of this, just like with One Step Forward fic, that the whole thing about humanity, ie a bit personal with Celestia.
