This story is a sequel to Hello From The Other Side
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna have ruled Equestria for many generations and have now decided now in this time of peace to step down. While passing the torch to Twilight, they have many things they want to do now that they're free from the constraints of rulership. What could possibly go wrong?
Note: While this is a parody of the (possible) upcoming Season 9 premiere, do know of course this is (again) a parody and does not reflect the events that will probably take place during said premiere.

I can't tell whether that middle section, the stuff in bold, is said by Spike, or by Pinkie. It goes like this:
Pinkie says something.
Applejack responds with a question.
There is an unattributed response. Normally, it could be inferred that this is Pinkie speaking.
Rainbow questions the response.
Spike answers the question as though he was the one who had given the response.
I apologize if I've given this an unwarranted amount of thought.
Welp. This is certainly going to be... interesting. I'm expecting a reunion with Sunset Shimmer.
Love the story idea but I can't believe that the people at Hasbro thought it was a good idea for them to have Celestia and Luna say they are retiring in the show like that in that video clip, I mean come on that is something you NEVER do in a show, boy are the angry fans going to be so PISSED now, heck I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro HQ was having to have armed guards at their gate to keep roudy Bronies and Pegasisters from storming the place. Anyway I hope to see how you work this story and how you will have Twilight try to work around having Celestia and Luna retire from being Princesses, that is if she will go along with it in the first place, I sure hope she says 'No' to all this because I would just LOVE to see the looks on Celestia and Luna's faces.
