Spike huffed out a sigh as he scooched baby Luna into Twilight’s bed. The tiny alicorn seemed to instinctively cuddle up to her ‘big’ sister who was already busy being cuddled by what had to be a barely conscious baby Twilight. Despite the nearly unconscious state the babies had to be in, baby Cadance seemingly took closed-eyed umbrage with her position at the end next to Twilight and crawled her length across the other three babies before passing out.

I ended up reading this story again and gained a new appreciation to for the sexual and otherwise humor. I'm still curious about how far you'll push the sexual innuendo without moving over to an M rating. It should be noted, however, that if you decided to just go all in and bump this story up to an M rating, I would be all for it. Just put'n it out there....

They're getting better at disaster planning from hard won experience. They've hammered out working contingencies to make sure Starlight doesn't find out about anything she might not need to know about. Since we've managed to rule out everypony else as sources, I'm guessing Starlight's the source of whatever drug package Star Swirl is on - I mean, she knows he's a thing and clearly has some project keeping her occupied... although it's just as possible a combination of the self-inflicted responsibility train which half-broke Sunbutt and Junior and goat slime means he hasn't really been himself for a very long time. I'm fine with that, by the by. He's certainly great at being a bastard, but long-term I'm kind of missing my previous image of the guy who packed a wand of wonder for parties and wrote an entire book of beard poetry on a drunk bet. Happy to see Chryssi too. It occurs to me Cadance may have deliberately chosen to leave her daughter - and more importantly, husband - in the care of Queen Chrysalis, but she wasn't expecting the other "hot babysitter" to turn up. Much less turn up hot and bothered. And we've seen that potentially Sunset and Chrysalis can have great rapport...

I don't actually think a hemipenis would be that versatile. They're generally not so much "double" as "forked" at a point which isn't that porn-useful. Still, a tail, fingers and a long enough tongue ought to make up for it in hole-filling quantity. Spike and Sunset have something else in common right now - a serious peeve with their mirrored circles of friends who have definitely abandoned Spike to babysitting and we can presume were more hindrance than help to Sunset. Can't help but wonder how much cooling-off time there'll be between the point they finally have nothing better to think about than revenge and actual revenge planning.

It might not even be a single agent - alicorns ought to be vulnerable to any microorganism which interacts with tribe-specific magic, so maybe this is a synergy caused by simultaneously having earth pony-, pegasus-, and unicorn-specific versions of the cold which can't normally interact in a single body? Maybe Celestia's seasonal routine managed for a long time to keep her away from at least some of whatever does this, until now when we have alicorns traveling everywhere and meeting up regularly to cross-infect.
