well... on the topic of grim/dark, i figured dark would work, considering the... circumstances of "my" appearence in equestria. i mean, a possable deal with the devil is pretty dark, am i wrong?
i am aware that self inserts are frowned upon by most, but i happen to be a fan of them, and figured i'd try my hand at it. all i ask is that you give it a read before condemning it.

No, there is other reasons why.
Most Self-inserted characters in stories happen to be the teenage human with a boring life going to school and living in a small house with no family around to support them, they only wish something amazing and cliche would happen and make it all different for them.
People don't like it.

.64171 well, greed, hatred, violence, racism(not sure if i spelled that right, but whatever), and the list goes on and on. the human world is filled with these things, and more, and while there are good people in the world, they are to few to overide the things that make humanity what it is. we are violent by nature, we come into this world, kicking and screaming, and most people go to their graves the same way. sorry about the philosiphy lesson, i kinda get carried away sometimes.

The philosophical ramblings were good, but you didn't even shed humanity in any good way. Everything you said was pretty much true, but humans are also capable to extraordinary acts of kindness. So it'd be nice to let he mane 6 know that even though we are the most violent bastards in the world there is a good side of us and not everyone is a depressed murdering crazy physco asshole.

66530 well, you have to take into account that most of them were drunk, he had just tried to foalnap Rarity, and he was, in essence, still siding with Discord, even when given a choice to stand against him. that, and i'm sure they would be completely dumbfounded by the whole situation, having never been exposed to such brutality before.... aaand i'm ranting again, my apologies
