Path To Sanity

Twilight has been alone for a long time now, after her psychiatrists suggested being home would make her feel safe again. Her only company is that of the mailmare, when she delivers Twilight's medicine. She showed no progress, up until one day, when her carers in Canterlot received a puzzling letter, from none other than the source of their patient's grief: Pinkamena Diane Pie.

She's fine being called Pinkie, it's just that Twilight is untrusting. There was a story I wrote before this where everything was explained much better, but I gave up on it because I didn't like it. She's just on the run, really.

Pinkie's on the run from where she was originally hiding, and decided to go to the Everfree forest and to the castle of the two sisters, but because she still has her emotions, she decided to go to the library, because there was a new one built. Feeling as though it would be empty, she decides to rob the place, but bumps in to Twilight. She wanted to see Twilight better, being consumed with empathy, so she sends a letter to the institution saying that she'll take care of Twilight. The rest of just establishing that they're trying to make it less emotionally damaging for them, because they're both in contrasting emotions about the whole cupcakes thing.
