Tinker Gear has been a normal pegasus in his lifetime. He had a steady job as an engineer, a roof on top on his head and food and water to eat and drink.
Being the introverted nerd he is, the only ponies who know him are his family, the ponies where he buys stuff from and some ponies in his workplace which makes his social life a bit lacking, but he has been content with it and tried to not socialize anyway.
He has been awkward since he was young, reasons being bullied for being good in Math, Algebra, Geometry and in some cases, physics and chemistry in cloudsdale middle school to high school. He let those memories sink in the past. Point is he is a normal pony living a normal life.
As he was walking home from his job, he found a mysterious, glowing object. He looked at it and stared curiously. Being the tinker that he is, he touched it.
This story has connections with him going through various grimdark stories, beware of gore and swearing.
Second Fanfiction too so criticism is always welcome.

I've been enjoying the changes Tinker makes to the stories you have crossed him over to. Most of those stories I haven't read but have already been told how they play out enough to know reading them would make me want to maul something as brutally vicious as possible. Your version allows me to enjoy the scenarios as I watch to see how the protagonist turns things around.
