Hoi palloi is a derogatory term for "common folk." I believe it's a Greek loanword, and sadly for the way it rolls off the tongue, gets very little use.

I meant mien, not mane. Mien sounds like "mean," and means (ha) "appearance," or "facade."

Well, I don't know about all that, but thank you very much!

Really good story, love the way you wrote Trixie and the dialouge in general. Most stories involving Trixie and her travels post Alicorn-amulet takes the absurd route of making her life hellish, that everyone dislikes her and her life is ruined etc. It makes sense that atleast some ponies/creatures still finds her work entertaining and you described it, in my opinion, to near perfection.

Keep up the good work and I will patiently wait for more!

I agree, it does seem absurd for everypony to hate her, despite what she's done. It's established in "canon" that the amulet affects it's wearer's mind. Were Trixie human, or subject to human laws, this probably wouldn't get her off the hook, and the likely best case scenario is that she'd be in jail for a long time. But in Equestria? Nah, ponies don't behave like that.

I remember now why I faved this AMAZING story. <3 It's got everything I love in pony-fiction: great world-building, strong characterization, lovely emotions, and heartstring-pulling romance. And with Trixie, no less! It's a beautiful relationship between her and Anon, definitely one I'd love to see continued or expanded on. Thank you for writing it.

Thank you very much! Despite it being my first story, I consider it my best, and I'm glad so many other people enjoy it, too. Last month, I reread it, and think it could be a little better. It moves along a lot more quickly than I realized. Maybe when I finish my current story, I'll revisit this one, who knows? Again, thank you.
