You had a couple of errors, once I get to an actual desktop I can start quoting them for you, and the whole author note thing broke tone and immersion, but the premise is really cool, and I love the plot so far. If you just had a prereader to help you catch the tiny errors *ahem*me*ahem* it would really help the story go from good to great with just that little bit of polish. All in all, I love it, just wish I could help with the little things.
