In vocabulary and skill.
'Twas mostly done as exercise
To test the limits of my will.

To thank you for your compliment
In any normal, ho-hum way
Would be like slapping someone's face
Turning 'round, and saying, "Good day."

I hope that you'll accept this thanks
That imparts true gratitude.
