7142139 yeah, that's a fairly common problem on this side. whenever there is a dark/clop fic popping up somewhere on this site, you can pretty much count on the fact that about half of the thumbs down it got, it has because of the thematic, rather than because of its quality.
honestly, at this point it's nearly some kind of game for me to guess how many of these stories actually deserve their bad rating and how many don't^^

Maybe she thought they were sleeping pills... in which case she would be right, and it wasn't an accident perse that she took a pill and passed out.

I've been confused this whole way about Thunderlane's role. Is there some established fan-canon that he's a huge scumbag? People seem to be reacting like it's old hat, but this is the first I'm hearing of it.
Also, great story, if a bit on the short side. I feel like there's more you could do with this, but I also understand what it's like to have a plan for a story. Nobody wants to change their plans.
